So experimenting more with different light colours, this time with a sunset.

So. Late page today. My kids started school yesterday. In the last week, I’ve been doing a lot of back to school prep and taking care of sick kids. Anyone dealt with a head lice infestation? I have. It sucks and its not cheap to get rid of it either. As a result of said bug problem, I’ve been doing laundry like you would not believe. My entire house, anything that my girl’s touched or has made contact with her hair is being cleansed.

*sigh*

There’s also been issues involved in getting the necessary paperwork put through so I can go back to work. I’m working tomorrow afternoon but after that? Who knows? I have to get this cleared up and right now it doens’t look like I’ll be able to until next Tuesday at the earliest. Which sucks. Hopefully the boss will have some ideas on what to do about this to make it go faster.

Anyways, if pages are late, it’s just me adjusting to the whole back to school routine. I should be getting a lot of comic work done this weekend, though, so there’s that at least. Hopefully, I’ll get Thursday’s page up on time.

I think I’ve mentioned at one point in the comic and definitely in the prequel that Mienna and Inhari were best friends. I’ve onyl drawn Inhari a few times and so she looks a little odd.

I’m going to have to colour this to give you a better idea of what junior priestess robes look like.

And Colahar makes another appearance for a few pages. I strangely like drawing him.

And yes. Before you ask. This was the only real way to draw this page. None of this dialog appears on the original story.

After telling my daughter all day that it’s Tuesday today, I finally realized that it’s Tuesday. Durr….

I haven’t drawn a proper Nahiro image in a while, so here he is in formal gear sans hat. Pose reffed from my current wallpaper. Because I’m lame that way.

If one were to look back in the archives to find last year’s birthday image, one would notice that the dates on these are completely different. I didn’t want to put an image up earlier than this as I didn’t want to interrupt the story. This is a natural break in things and so you’re getting it now.

So. 2 years of this comic. Thank you to all my lovely readers for hanging out this long and thanks to all those who’ve just popped in to look around.
