This is one of those pages that just doesn’t’ stop. I started with the two panels of Kinrou at the top, the one on the bottom, and the middle panel originally only had Sahiren, Kishandren, and Kinrou in it. I added Nahiro as that part of the page looked really blank and it was either that or more horses. Chounen and Toef were added in later. I’m getting better at this whole drawing animals thing, which makes me happy.

What I like: I really like that shot of Sahiren and Kishandren. It’s nice to be able to do couple-esque images that aren’t Nalshen and Mienna.

Incidentally, this is the final page of chapter 7. I’ll be posting the cover pages for Part 3 and Chapter 8 next. Hopefully, once those are over with I’ll have enough to start posting twice a week. So far, so good.

What I don’t like: I’m not 100% pleased with Kinrou’s facial expression in the last panel. I don’t think it properly conveys his feelings. Granted, the dialog for that panel doesn’t either, not the way the novel does.
